Building Biblical Community
1. As a group, read Acts 2:42-47. What differences do you see between those early Christians, to the church today?
2. Brandon said that it is important that we are connected spiritually and that we have a 'shared' relationship with Jesus. What does a shared relationship look like to you?
3. That kind of relationship demands an extreme commitment, and is only as deep as you allow it. How deep are you willing to go, how committed are you willing to be to the 'biblical community'? And why?
4. How are you doing on a scale of 1-10 in those four areas of community: Experiencing the Bible together in community (Devoted to the apostle's teaching), Doing life together (Fellowship), Breaking Bread together, and Sharing prayer together?
5. Brandon said that when we have this kind of community, it produces extreme results. Part of those results is the meeting of needs within the community. How can your small group take action to begin meeting needs within the body?
Spend some time in prayer asking God to help us experience real, authentic community.
