Whit just recently returned to Salisbury after taking 2 years to work in Youth Ministry as a Youth Pastor at an area church. For several years Whit has called and considered Salisbury home so he couldn’t be more excited to be back! In September, 2011 he officially returned to Salisbury and joined the staff as Salisbury’s Director of Student Ministries.

• Whit and his wife Amber (who happens to be way out of his league!) have been married for 4 years and they just recently celebrated the birth of their first son Mason, who was born in June.

• When he’s not trying to catch up on sleep, Whit loves teaching, revealing God’s word and will take any chance he can to build relationships with students.

• At the Lauwers’ home you’ll likely find ESPN on the TV, Whit loves to play and follow “fantasy football,” watch Michigan football and play a little golf and run on the side.

• Whit has a huge heart for Student Ministry and loves to watch students connect with friends, family and ultimately God!
